So, Gruden , with his mostly mediocre pro record and NO college experience turned us down. He was 20% coach and 80% ego anyway.

I suggest we offer Bill Cowher or (gasp) Jimmy Johnson
a 5 year $25M contract to turn our program around.

Both are a much better choice than "stankface" and if we choose to break the bank, let's get our money's worth.Proven winners over many seasons.

May be a hard sell, but worth a try !!

I think we should just load up NCAA Football 2013 and hire the person that is ranked #1 on the leaderboard with Tennessee. Of course we would have to use the Ranked leaderboard to make sure no one boosted those stats. As far as assistant coaches, take the person ranked #2, then #3, so on and so forth. Those people know the Tennessee playbook and can run it in the virtual world so they should be able to do it in the real world right? I mean, thats what "qualifies" a pilot. Being able to fly a plane on Flight Simulator for ungodly amounts of time without crashing and killing everyone.

Given, these people that would be high in rank are probably around the age range of 12 - 22 but that just means they would be happy with getting $2,000 a month.

Think about it.... Cheap.... Able to virtually command a team.... Just take the A, B, X, Y, LB buttons out and replace them with player names and instead of a controller, use voice. Should be simple enough, right? I mean, Dooley's qualifications were that he was a lawyer.

You so funny Jax !! Bowden and Paterno coached until they were around 80ish (way too long i'll admit) but Johnson and Cowher both have AT LEAST 5 years of tread wear left on them.They have past ties to Johnny Majors and/or the Cleveland Browns and either one of them would have St. Saban eating the dirt off their cleats within a 5 year period.
