For late game heroics that saved Ole Miss from a bad loss at home. As an SEC fan that was too close. I do not think that southern miss is poised to make noise in conference usa, but they were impressive today.

See MHF, that's why you don't predict all this greatness from the SEC. Right now, the closest thing to a safe bet in the SEC is that UT and UK will make the tournament.

See the other thread.

Vanderbilt and UF would have to completely fall apart to miss the tournament now.

Vanderbilt has wins against St. Mary's on the road, against Arizona, against Missouri...good wins.

Florida has OOC against Michigan State and Florida State.

Both will have better seeds than all but 1 SEC team last year if they keep rolling through the OOC.

Yea, they're basically locks less than 10 games into the season.

Hey, that Arizona win is Vandy's ticket. Wait til you see what an inpressive record the Wildcats finish with.

Yep, Vandy proved with that win that they are a final four contender like UF did beating a beat up MSU team.

Arizona Hat is on the record as saying will have their worst team in 25 years. I pointed out two teams who finished as worse teams than this years Arizona will. Arizona looked good almost beating UNLV.

Hat will probably pretend that did not happen, he will post saying, "Arizona is pretty good" and hope people do not remember what he said up until now.

Wrong on Arizona, Wrong on Vanderbilt, Wrong on Charlotte, Wrong on UF.

Getting there will be no problem...

Now how far we advance.....

I've just not watched enough basketball yet to say that we'll win the required 9 or 10 conference games. Since the semis of that tournament, I'd call our play less that desirable.

It would take an injury to a key player or just an overall implosion for us not to make the Dance.

If the first 9-10 games of the season determined the tournament entires, we would have to expand the tournament to 120 teams. Give it up MHF with the continual argument about how great the SEC is based on early season games. You can't win and are going to continue to look foolish with your senseless predictions.

4 seeds is most likely not a stretch,, Florida is much improved at this point,, depth is an issue...

the conference is down, but no reason to knock or ridicule people on this site so much,,....

Only thing i see about UT (thank god for ESPN 360) is that our walk on seems to have the best outside shot - this is never a good thing.

The SEC is terrible; I have my reservations about this team, but I would be shocked if we didn't win 12 game in the conference.

I think 12 games is too much despite a weak conference.

We could lose to twice to UK, once to UF and once to Vandy. If we lose more than 4 games in this conference, it will be a major disappointment.

I know. That's really sad.
