It is ridiculously hard to love you sometimes. But I do, in spite of your flaws.

To the Seniors of Team 117: Thank you for representing our university with class. In my lifetime I have never seen a group of students who have had to endure what you have.

To Team 117: Congratulations on your first road win. Special thanks to Kentucky for snapping that streak for us. You owed us one.

To my fellow Vol fans: Sometimes it sucks to be a fan of Tennessee Football. But it's still better to bleed orange. It's still better to be a Tennessee fan. And it's still great, to be, and Tennessee Vol!!

GO VOLS!!!!

Welcome to the off season We can look forward to signing day, the spring game, and then all postulate on the 2014 season. The predictions will be fun to read, some outlandish, some on target, some hopeful but fun to dissect. GBO - its on towards 2014.

We picked hell of a hobby. Why didn't I take up sewing like my mom asked me to?

For me, it's sweating bullets until national signing day. If we can hold onto to our verbal commits, I will feel a lot better about things.

Because we are members of the most passionate fan base in the greatest sport in America. I raise my glass in salute to all true Vols for Life, a category that includes not just current and former players and alumni but also fans who have steadfastly and proudly supported the Orange and White through thick and thin.

9 months of hell. Damn, I hate the waiting.

I agree kick off of the new season is like a second Christmas.
I hate the off season.
This time however I look forward to see what jones and co can do between now and then.
Can't wait to see team 118 and the new recruits!

One thing is clear. We played some really good teams this year and with a little luck on our side , next year we could bounce back in a big way even with our youth.

As Bad as 2013 was for the Vols, 2014 will be the 9th year of the greatest rebuilding project in Vol history.... Brick by Brick.....Go Vols

You said it well.. This class had three coaches . Two Ads .About half the guys who they committed with left or couldn't qualify or went to j*** . Congrats for the effort and hard work. I'm proud of the ones who stuck it out and may I say played a hell of a last game as a vol. I'm proud to have rooted for you these last four years.

Seniors who stick around during adversity are very special and are needed in times of rebuilding. I add my thanks also. Excellent post ... GO VOLS!

Will Tennessee ever see a game of such magnitude as last nights Iron Bowl? As I watched the end of the game I longed for something similar occurring at Neyland, the Vol Nation flooding the field , pandemonium and euphoria.

On a different note, is Tee Martin still @ USC? Come home Tee!

Fixed it for ya. I wouldn't consider what Kiffin and Dooley did as "rebuilding".

Listening to some of the post game interviews makes me even more proud of these seniors. What a remarkable group of young men!
