Big Ten, for kicking off one of the biggest fiascos in the history of College football. Not sure yet how this exansion stuff will affect TN and the SEC, but I'd just like to show some love for the summer entertainment that has created something else to talk about besides Coach O's belly button.

Thank you, Big Twelve, for letting Nebraska and the rest of the Big Ten realize how badly they suck and get the crap out of there. Not even caring about their rivalries and traditions, just wanting to be TV stars.

Thank you, Texas, for having such dedicated fans here in TN, where they seem to have a constant heart rate of around 110 lately...

Thank you, Texas A&M, for being such dedicated fans of the SEC. Hope this happens so we can kick your butt more often. :p

Thank you, Notre Dame, for simply not going to the Big Ten in the first place and possibly making this a whole lot simpler than it was. Maybe even leaving the Big Twelve intact with only a few conference changes altogether.

And last, but not least...Thank you for Pete Carrol, who has successfully destroyed one of the best schools in the Pac 10 and have taken Lane Kiffin off of our hands. Gives me a sort of warm, fuzzy feeling inside....

So again, thank you. You have now gotten rid of the seemingly endless and dull discusions on spectulation of next year's season with Dooley.

For now.

Thanking Texas for driving Nebraska to the Big 10 would be a better way to start, otherwise I agree.

Or thank the Pac 10 and Colorado for opening the flood gates. After all, the initial reports said the PAC 10 was going to become the Pac 16.

Colorado changing conferences is less significant than Boise St jumping to the MWC

No doubt the PAC 10 needs help, but this wouldn't be happening had Texas been willing to negotiate a fair split of tv revenues with their partners to the north, Nebraska and Colorado had had enough. Further, you'd think a conference with 16 teams would WANT a conference championship game, for added revenue. Watch, there won't be one.
