Be they serious or lighthearted, why not use that keyboard in front of you and share a few of those things for which you are thankful!

A few of my own...

For every fan of the Vols, Tide, Bulldogs, 'Dores, Wildcats, Bayou Bengals,Tigers, Hogs, Gamecocks, Rebels, and every other school across the country who puts on the uniform of the United States of America. You represent all that is good and unique about America in places all across the world and for that...
I am thankful.

For those roadside places that make an oil and filter change just a ten minute snippet from my day...
I am thankful.

For the fact that, despite all the bad politics surrounding public education these days, there are still folks who get up every morning happy that they'll get to teach kids that day....
I am thankful.

Though geographically distant, my family is still happy, healthy, and growing. And, for that...
I am thankful.

For those devils' food cookies that snackwell's makes, and ice cold Mayfield milk...
I am thankful.

For this place. For the VolNation. For the way a few of you's anxiety was palpable when the days grew longer since we'd heard from some of our own, who were in hurricane Katrina's path. For the way others of you went above and beyond when a young Vol fan in a wheelchair needed a little help getting in touch with the right people when he wanted to see his first game at Neyland. Since joining in February, I have found you to be a remarkable bunch, and for this too...
I am thankful.

OK, Lets hear from the rest of you!!!

Good thread. I needed to be reminded. Lately I have had a hard time thinking of things to be thankful for. Its alot easier to think about all I lost. Besides having lost everthing I own, all of my family members loosing everything, My dog just got killed a week ago, and being run out of my own town.........

I am very thankful that everyone I know was safe. If we were not on vacation when the evacuation took place my husband would have probally stayed.

I am thankful that in a hard way, I will finally get to move to the mountains like I have been wanting for years!!! I would have rather been able to take my stuff with me but God had other plans for me.

I am very thankful for all of you because I was overwhelmed with all the prayers and kind words for me and my family.

And last but not least, I am thankful that this horrible year is almost over and look forward to bigger and better things next year!!!!!!! ( for me and my VOLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) :dance2:

AMEN.

Wow, it would certainly take more room than this server could provide, but I am thankful for God's blessings on our great nation, for our freedom, for the men and women who protect our freedom, for my family, for my community, my job, small towns, country roads, the Tennessee Vols and our great university, for this board, and a whole multitude of other things.

I do hope everyone on here has a tremendous Thanksgiving and is thankful for all we have to be thankful for.

GO VOLS!!!

I am thankful to live in God's country: East Tennessee.
I am thankful for my family.
I am thankful for my one and only sibling: my little sis.
I am thankful for College Football.
I am thankful for my friends who have never EVER let me down when I needed them the most.
I am thankful for my job and my wonderful co-workers.
I am thankful for my father's hard work and his father's hard work.
I am thankful that my dad took me to that Mississippi State game at Neyland Stadium on a crisp, fall day when I was about 8 years old.
I am thankful that Tee Martin and Peerless Price hooked up to seal the deal in 1998 with that bomb in Tempe.
