Good grief. Every year people whine about this. Be thankful you get to watch football on Thanksgiving day.

I agree with the OP. I thought this same thing the other day and half the country agreed the games should rotate. Come on 120... with your Michigan ties, I'm sure you enjoy the Lions games. As a Titans fan or someone who doesn't care about the Lions and hates the Cowboys... it gets old that it's the same teams ever year. The best game of the day is neither team and is on NFL network. That right there is why the Lions and Cowboys get old every Thanksgiving. I'm glad football is on but aside from the 49ers/Ravens, I was looking forward to the Texas/A&M game over the others. I knew the Packers would win and Dolphins? Really?

I normally agree with you 120 but having an opinion doesn't make it whining... put a smile on your face and make the world a better place. Not everyone agrees the Cowboys and Lions should be on everyone thanksgiving, just the way it is.

Btw, on a day for giving thanks, being thankful for football has never crossed my mind.

Suh is following the Albert Haynesworth example of thuggish behavior.

NFL is going to hammer him for that stomp.

Missed it but heard he did it. I don't know what to make of both having played for Schwartz... probably nothing but definitely ironic. I suppose the Titans were considered dirty under him and now the Lions are considered dirty. Might not be a coincidence at all.

Fwiw, I like Scwartz and think he is a good coach.

And rightfully so. It isn't like he has recently met with the commissioner or anything. Oh, wait. He did. He's just a complete piece of trash.

I am left only with the conclusion that Schwartz encourages this type of play. He won't go out there and tell someone to do something that stupid, but I don't think it is a coincidence that the Titans were accused of being dirty under Schwartz and now the Lions appear to be the same. Schwartz is a good coach, but I am not liking what I see with that team.

Right? On a day spent with family gatherings, I'd like to be on the outside looking in for that game. I might be able to catch the second half but it's a shame that it's not nationally broadcast. 9-1 vs. 7-3, brother vs. brother. I think those are the records anyways. Should be sweet
