What a freaking joke he is.

Seems like a whole lot people in the Big 10 are suffering from SEC-envy. The SEC is the best year in and year out, even during the "down" years. Not saying it's everyone's opinion, but statements like this don't do a lot to help their cause. I don't think it's just Delany, it seems to be an overall attitude with many of the broadcasters as well.

I had forgotten about those comments. Delaney is a complete jerk. He is also a big obstacle to a playoff. I hate the Big Ten. And, if it's not for the national title, I don't care about the Rose Bowl at all - they gave us a bad matchup again just to stick to a stupid tradition. Besides, way back in the day, the Rose Bowl just matched two great teams. OK, my rant's over, GO SEC!!!

If you can't win championships against the big boys you should play with the little boys Jim. The Big Ten isn't the Ivy League top to bottom, can't compete academically with the big boys either.
