Had a few hours to let this game run it's course. Watched the interviews and I'm just so proud of the way these men have represented our program...that being said i know there's others out there like myself that take this game very serious, as a vol fan it literally tore me up when I watched pig lose that football trying his best to score for his team and his university...I actually got choked up when rajon scored the go ahead td because I want them to win so bad, for themselves and for the great university. my fiancé gives me grief for getting so worked up over these games and on one side it is complete understandable (why is this 26 year old man allowing a game he can't control almost bring him to tears) and the truth is I'm selfish, I don't have to sacrifice the way these men to, I don't have the previlage to fight for the orange. But I love this program and love this university..I'm proud of the effort this team showed and I want so bad for them to get over that hump and win for this school. And "selfishly" for myself. GO VOLS sorry for the rant fellas

Nothing selfish about it bud, we all wanted it and so did the players. Sometimes I get frustrated with members of our fan base but honestly I have some respect for all of you. If you've stuck with this Tennessee team the past 5 years it's hard to paint any of us as bandwagon.

A bowl game and win is what this team deserves for the heart they have shown thus far.

Exactly...and I'm sitting there trying to "will" the victory lol it's absurd from the perspective of a non football fan..but I feel like I deserve to get emotional about this team that I would consider a big part of my life...now not a blubbering mess crying about the loss but just feeling like man we were ( ) this close again!

Nothing selfish about that at all! When my boyfriend and I heard the call on the radio after we scored from the blocked punt,he had goosebumps all over his arm as did I. Both of us shed a tear when Georgia kicked the winning field goal. Tennessee Vols football isn't just a game to some of us it's a way of life. I am so proud of how the boys played today but also am kind of sick to my stomach for how it ended. I would hope that doesn't make me selfish.

Hey man I'm right there with you, I wanted to cry when Georgia hit that fg. I know these kids played their hearts out and I feel so bad for them, especially Pig. I hope this was the wake up call our fan base needed to get behind JW as our qb. I really hope they take this game as a positive and come out in two weeks ready to take the fight to SC.
