Hopson had a bad first half and came back in the second half to carry his team on his shoulders. The boy is growing up.

It's like it finally dawned on him that it's his team and he is more dynamic than most of the guys defending him.

I just couldn't believe that we made our free throws in the last 3 minutes and Vandy couldn't.

Ever since his ankle injury, in each game he has played he has had that mentality. Maybe sitting out a game did him some good.

It's about time. To bad he didn't do this earlier in the season. TN would be ranked.

He was clutch tonight from the line. That's what's been missing even during this stretch of games where he's played so well. He did it tonight. That's a big step for him.

We have all complained about him pouting, ducking his head, wearing his emotions. That doesn't matter much when he decides he wants to take you to the hole. Really has good touch in the paint and around the rim. I'll guarantee we'll miss him. But I hope he keeps that chip on his shoulder all the way through March!

I don't think he'll ever forget the regional final last year. Good source of motivation for him.

I like the killer instinct he had tonight. That's the kind of leader we have been needing to step up and take over. Now he needs someone else to be a compliment. When he sits, we have 0 offensive threats. With that being said, I did like how Goins took the ball to the basket strong in the 2nd half.

Scottys free throws were clutch. What was he 6 for 6 there in the late stretch? Amazing. Excellent game guys.

We? No. Just Scotty.

After leaving four points at the line on back to back one and ones, mind you.

scotty takes can take 2 dribbles and be at the basket so quickly, he tough to guard when he's on his game.

Big win. Hard to believe that Vandy had only one basket in the last 10 minutes of game--and ZERO points in last five. To say that is rare would be an understatement.

Maybe, but I have seen this same thing posted many times in the few years he has been here. I think you are right fwiw.

The light has come on for Scotty, thats for sure. But the real question is, will it stay on? Come on back for another year Scotty, it will help you in the long run.

If he came back next year, he would be one of the most dominant players in the AA no question.
