That's racist!

Well, Nathan Bedford Forrest, the first Grand Wizard of the Klan, and one of the founding members, was a Tennessee delegate to the Democratic National Convention in New York on July 4, 1868.

With Abraham Lincoln being a Republican, you can pretty well bet that the founding Klan members in Pulaski, Tn weren't in his party.

Ssshhhh. You are bringing facts. Commie Conte dont like facts.

How about putting it a different way then.

Plenty of people, white people to be specific, don't hold any racist or sexist views and believe all people are created equal. However, those same people are made to feel shame for the extremely small minority that are racist based on the color of their skin only. So instead of actually making the distinction of "there are idiots out there, but by and large, most people don't believe in that" all are lumped into the same preconceived opinion that because they are white, they are racist.

And in case you missed that subtle reference, that's the classical definition of being prejudiced. A preconceived opinion not based on fact or experience.

So if the BLM movement and others that like to scream racism at every turn can provide any proof that all white people are racist based solely on the color of their skin, perhaps they should be looking in the mirror at who the racists truly are.

Take a little bit of that with you over the weekend, bnhunt.

*slow clap*

ok this does go a little too far

One man wore masks of Obama and Hillary Clinton with a noose around their necks. The other wore a Donald Trump mask and led the first man around by the noose.

dogs belong on leashes not people.

Honestly, the more I observe and grow older, the more I realize the blame is partially on the surrounding mentalities of these kids. From parents to teachers to social media. It has coddled and provided an expectation that the world should never be judgemental or present unfair adversity and when it is or does, you have parents or advisors who point fingers at everyone else but their kid. I think it starts there.

This countries culture is getting very "me myself and I". Take a look at the roads when you drive. From people intentonally getting in the merge lane to cut their commute or cutting across the entire highway to get off at an exit just to be ahead by a single car length. Take a look at how many people hold the door open anymore, hate to be called ma'am or sir, use their damn blinkers, etc.

I do see some of the younger generation fall in line with an old school mentality when defining adversity as "life". Normally those individuals grew up with guardians that mimic those same morals and code in a very strong way. Myself, with a 1 year old, am left with a decision to make regarding lessons and how they are provided. I hope and pray I don't raise a ***** and will combat that weakness daily with teaching accountability and the norms of adversity fair or not. Hopefully it works...

If the kid needs it the parent isn't fit to raise children. we made it however many generations before this was ever needed.

I'm guessing you have never parented a child with ADHD.

I habitually ran/snuck off when I was wee. They lost me at Disney World for 2 hours, haha.
