Honestly, I can think of several people I consider better singers than Beyonce. I feel Christina Aguilera, Mariah Carey (even with the New Years Even blowup), Ellie Goulding and Avril Lavigne have better voices than Beyonce.

If we are to talk historically, Aretha Franklin and Tina Turner are way better than Beyonce ever thought of being.

Not even going to get into country singers since that'd be probably be racist since there aren't that many black country singers.

Yeah, the good folks of Washington are much better off having working people pay a higher percentage of their income through the sales tax than with an unfair income tax that would place a greater burden upon those who can actually afford it.

I believe we had the highest sales tax in the US, well it was anyway.

A sales tax is way better than an income tax. Why in the f would you want an income tax? Wtf.

Personally I think it would be more masculine to talk about female pop singers than male pop singers.

I don't consider Aretha Franklin anywhere near "pop" singer status. Neither is Tina Turner though an argument could be made for her 80s work.

And it's not about "pop" music. It's about the talent level thereof. I'm sure any of the ones I mentioned could easily cross over into other musical areas.

Or are you just mad I didn't mention Taylor Swift or Brittney Spears?
