ESPN's 30 For 30 series has been very good by my account, " The 2 Escobars " was far and away the best of the group so far.

A very detailed look into the underworld of Columbia, most notably Pablo Escobar and the Columbia national team.

What were your thoughts?

I saw about 20 minutes of this. I hope to catch a replay of it and see the whole story

My 2nd favorite so far After "Without Bias". I've seen all but a couple of them. Great series. Perfect night, (Tues) Espn hit a homerun on this thing. A better way to do the "E60" thing.

That was good as well but I fell that this one had much more of a story...it involved an entire country...drugs and soccer, a dangerous mix.

I saw the part talking about the drug dealer Escobar running from the feds and the soccer player Escobar getting an own goal. That's the only part I saw

It was on TV while I was trying to memorize plays and listening to music if that counts.

Them being seen visiting him is what did it. IMO. They had finally gained respect and an identity of their own thru the qualifying. Not as if they had much of a choice, either tho. I did find it interesting that Pablo personally subsidized the lower class. (Everyone)

Over 700 families were in living in a landfill...Pablo built them all homes...at the same time he ordered thousands of murders, his right hand man admitted to killing over 250 people himself.

It was far and away the most intriguing documentary I have seen in awhile.

My favorite 30 for 30 so far second only to the Ricky Williams one.

Andres Escobar's murder was truly tragic.

My favorite so far was the Reggie Miller one, but I'm a little biased since I always liked Miller and the Pacers when I was growing up. This one was also one of the best. I had heard bits and pieces of this story but never so much detail. Very interesting.
