at this point im going to go with the safe pick and say rettig and rees, with scroggins looking like an SC lean to me. but lets hear who you guys may think some dark horse names may be ?

I'm going with just Retting after we took Lamaison in this class.

The darkhorse I can think of is Garret Grayson and maybe Hutson Mason.

I will go with Rettig also. The chances arent on our side with Scroggins. I am starting to like Grayson as a number 2.

I am gonna still go with Scroggins. He is not gonna get any early PT at USC with Barkley there. All he is to do is look how Urby ruined Chris Leak in his offense. I still think we are his best option but I dont think CLK is gonna wait on him. So he needs to commit or it might be Rettig or Grayson..

I am pretty sure he's out as far as playing QB for us, or any other major BCS school for that matter. I like him, but it seems coaches who evaluate talent for a living don't from a QB aspect.

See my post in the Munchie thread. Munchie has never allowed for the possibility of playing another position to his own detriment IMO. He only wants to play QB.

I believe Tommy Rees will commit towards the end of next week. Chaney likes him and he is a quality QB, but has not garnered national attention because of the competition he plays against. I believe he has an above average football IQ and would be a great get. Not many QBs outside of the west coast are being talked about but I believe he is a solid #2 commit.
