Man, I really wish our 401k provider would open up some index funds for us. Straight up, no management. I get why they don't.

Here's someone that says there ought to be massive risk pools, and bid out the management.

That's a step too far, imo. But, dang, the finance managers have really put themselves in the catbird's seat on this system, haven't they?

You don't have to use a provider and they have index funds available. You can direct investments.
