The big question - did you get the girl?

Funny story... Her boyfriend came with. Other option didn't even stay with us as planned, she found another group of her friends was staying at the campground and went with them instead. The actual camping part was pretty lame as it rained all day yesterday and the park ranger told me on Friday night that I couldn't set up my ENO camping hammock bc it's apparently against the law to tie from trees in a state park. I didn't have a tent so he let me do it just Friday night. We decided not to stay Saturday night and came home as soon as the rain let up. So, all in all, the rides were good.

Outdoor festival this weekend. Giant & Trek will have free demos & shuttle to the trails. I know where I'll be.

I need to buy more Chris King parts. Everything I touch from them is awesome and their customer service is the best I've ever worked with.

Ebay sucks. How is it possible for sellers to list items for less than we can even buy them for? I'm trying to unload some old stock without actually losing money, there's no way! Guess I'll just stick to selling broken parts on there and making a killing on it.

Nevermind my eBay rant... I just put in a bid for another Rocky Mountain frame. Same as the one I already own, just actually in my size this time.

I want to get a bike. Not sure of what brand. I'm 6'5" and know that I will need a large frame. I will want a trail bike that is able to ride on road.

thanks for input

All trail bikes are able to ride on the road. You can get tires that are better for road riding, but they don't work so well off road. I'd suggest an XL 29'r. Not knowing what your price range is, I'd suggest looking at brands like Kona, Felt, Jamis, etc. I tend to stay away from big brands like Specialized, Giant, and Trek because they cut A LOT of corners when they spec a bike out now.

what's your budget? Do you ever want to take your bike off road or do you want a bike that lets you ride upright?
