Going to apply for a second job, third shift. Should be easy to commute on a 3rd shift schedule. A few of our customers already do so and they like it.

Bought new winter gloves. Giro 100 Proof. Very nice, but the lobster claw style takes getting used to.

Studded winter tires are awesome on ice, only okay on snow. I'd rather take wider tires over the studs. They make wider studded tires, but they're expensive as hell.

I went out this morning and actually had to take off my balaclava, gloves, and jacket within 10 minutes of starting my ride. Was sweaty as hell by the time I got back and I was just running to the bank! It's awesome for early January.
