Why?
I saw a documentary on the RAA a couple years ago. I forget the specifics, but the lead guy rode something like 600-700 miles straight before getting any sleep. Insane.
It's going to get pretty cold for the next three days. I'll have to pound out some shorter rides and then open the throttle come Thursday. I set my sights for 850 miles in 30 days.
I got 65 miles in today between two rides. Maybe saw 10 cars all day.
If the weather holds out this weekend then my cycling season starts Saturday. I have been looking forward to riding so much. I probably have not been on my bike in weeks, so it is going to be a struggle at the beginning to get my distance back up.
Also looking at getting a new bike. Finally going to jump to a CF frame. Right now I am trying to decide on which Specialized Tarmac model. Any suggestions?
I didn't even reach 500 miles in March. Fail.
