Folks, for those of us with the gray hairs who witnessed the late 80s to the early 00s…

The ascent is the truly fun part. And watching the young backups today reconfirmed that we are a program pointed up.

Yes, there will be ups and downs. But it is way more fun getting there…than being there.

I truly believe that we have one of the best coaches in the game. And I truly believe he will get us there. So relax and enjoy the bumpy ride!

Totally agree. It's nice being at the top, however short lived it can be for most, but the ascent is by far the best part , hands down. Finally , we're regaining a winning mentality as a program , not just flashes in the pan.

Agree with one edit: my first game in Neyland Stadium was 1964. So, call me a Curmedgeon for Life. Go Big Orange.

My teenage/high school years coincided with a decade of heartbreak and I was present in Knox for a lot of those games. Seeing the work that heupel and staff have done so far has been the most rewarding “fan experience” of my life. I got some of my friends into college football after watching the Bama game last year and they’re UT fans now and it’s just terrific. I love the direction the whole athletic department is headed.
