He goes on to say this about Lampard

"He is big. He needs to play games, games, games at the start of the season [to get into condition]. When these players, like Lampard, like Andy, are fit and at the top of their form, they will be important."

I could understand if you said he won't score 15 goals with the different options Liverpool has this year I could even see haters saying he won't score 10, but if he scores less than 5 goals which you claim and he isn't hurt a majority of the season he will not be around anymore.

I just look at Berbatov from two seasons ago and he still somehow managed to stick around, even turn it around (hes still rubbish IMO) last season.

I personally found the article entertaining, especially the part where Fabs says Andy has been drinking too much. lol

haha yeah.. definitely getting it. I'd be down for the club. My friend would probably be interested as well.

EDIT:

Tell those guys to add me on live too. I'd like to have more people to play 1v1. Thanks man.
.

N problem. I will send you an invite when the game comes out and look out for a thread about it within the next few weeks.

Domination? You haven't played me, sir.

Domination against non VN members :hi:

I have only got a few games in since I got to Hawaii a couple weeks ago, so I'd probably be off my game. No excuses though. I'll have to add you, or vice versa, and maybe find a time when we are both online (given the 5-6 hour time difference)

Right. So you're comparing a guy that tied for most goals scored last year in the epl to a guy you claim will only score 5. It's whatever

You just can't give it a rest can you? How many "good" goals did Berbs score last year? I don't care if he tied Tevez for goals, his goals were mostly poached and IMO he is still garbage and not worth near the transfer fee we paid.

So he tied for Golden Boot and didn't get a reserve spot in the UEFA final. That's very telling.

And you really need to stop being so damn literal. I was hating when I said he wouldn't score more than 5. Maybe he will score 10, who knows, but IMO (key word opinion so stop being such a dick) he is not worth anywhere near 30 million pounds. IDK how many he will score, but I think he is way overrated, in the same way that Berbatov was. I guarantee 9/10 MU fans would express the same sentiment.

To totally trip you out, I'd rather have Carroll and his beer gut than Berbs and his "excellent footwork".

But you know, it's whatever.

Let's just quash this stupid s*** already. When Carroll starts scoring goals or playing well, I'll willingly eat crow, until then allow me my opinion and I'll even do one more and respect yours.

I could care less if Carroll was on the reserve team as long as Liverpool got to the UEFA Final.

I just don't understand the hate. He scored 11 goals for Newcastle half a season before being sold and spent the majority of the second half and even at this moment hurt/recovering.

The price tag was outrageous but if you're mad you can blame Roman it was his money.

I don't even care that much for Carroll. Suarez is a much better play maker IMO but Carroll is a beast in the air and has a monster left foot.

Answer me this why would Fergie refuse to sell his "reserve" striker to a team like PSG that offered a very large sum of money for his abilities?

The only official offer I ever heard was for 12m pounds. Rumors PSG offered up to 18-19 in the dying embers of the transfer period but I do not believe that to be true. Simply cannot be true IMO bc like you said why wouldn't he sell a 30 year old reserve striker with less than a year on his contract for a decent transfer fee? Too big of a loss from initial transfer fee of 30m? Personal pride by fergie? Berbs literally begged to stay at MU? Who knows but I think it's something more along the lines of an insurance plan/rotational striker for softer games/competitions. Polishing Welbeck's boots at the moment. Though I personally think he's not good, and doesn't have an ounce of pace, or the heading ability he should have, he's not the worst possible backup, although close to it IMO. I hope we resign him for a 4 year deal and then throw him out with the bathwater in january for as much as PSG or the likes are willing to pay.

What's up with the mens national team? 1-0 losses to Belgium and Costa Rica, I mean, come on.

I stopped having faith in the USMNT a long time ago. I cheer for them, I just never expect them to win anything.

I've basically become an England fan myself. And take into account that I'm a big homer for America in general.

Color me unimpressed by new look Arsenal. Same idiotic scheme with lesser parts.

Maybe Wilshere, Song, Gervinho, etc. will help but I doubt it.

I didn't expect this a good of a start. I don't think anyone did. At this rate we'll finish the season with a +100 damn. But that won't happen....

Next week's game will be very telling. If we can carve up Chelsea the way we have everyone else then only the noisy neighbors will pose a real threat to number 20.

You don't think getting 4 first-team players back and the new guys settling in will help a little?

That's funny.

Once Wilshere come backs, Arsenal will get a big boost. He was the best player on the field in the first leg against Barcelona last year.
