Madrid was a completely different team at the end of the season than the team that lost 5-0. The two legs in the CL were 2-0 and 1-1.

They were the same team, they just played a different style. They turned the game into an embarrassing riot.

they played a well coached game, playing to a style that gives them a chance to win...just like any other club would

i'd agree to that, i think it'd be 2-1 man u if played right now.

however, this real team has not played together as much as man u and barca, and will do nothing but improve as the season goes on. also, barca beat man u soundly in the uefa final, at least real has shown they can beat barca.

i also have a hard time believing that de gea and man u's defense would be able to keep real from scoring, but like i said: 2-1 if played RIGHT NOW

Absolutely, De Gea will need protection all season long IMO. So long as good wing play continues, and forwards stay in form, I think we'll outscore them.

I've thought a lot of the games were going to be dangerous trap games so far, that is until we demoralized the other team. Same thing may happen tomorrow, but alas, once again, time will tell.

Lucky for me the game is "later", so I can watch it at 6:30 my time. That means bedtime like now.

I just saw highlights, so I'm not sure how well they played. The last time I saw, it was 2-0 Chelsea. Not sure if that was the result or not. It looks like Torres had a solid day, though.

Edit: Just saw it ended up 4-1.
