Were Arsenal the only English club to win today?
I'm going to hold on to this moment.
prove to me that I am wrong, please.
Anyone who truly watches Barca games knows that Messi is the one who makes the offense tick. Messi gets injured, the team quickly falls apart and can't break teams down. Yes, xavi is important, but not nearly as vital as Messi is. And Messi won the Balon d'or basically playing without Iniesta for almost the entire season in the 2009-2010 season.
That is still him playing for Barca.. in their system.
Would you say he is the same player for Argentina? Is his goal record close to the same? Is he just as productive? Here, I'll help... 62 appearances with 17 goals.
This is to be compared to 182 appearances and 127 goals for Barcelona.
Xavi and Iniesta not only make it happen for Barcelona but they also managed to take their team through and win the World Cup. That is maybe something we should keep in mind. The are turning the gears whether you want to admit it or not. Why do you think it was so vital to get Cesc?
Poor guy was just trying to put on some weight.
Manchester United's David De Gea warned over stolen doughnut - ESPN Soccernet
Over/Under on # of doughnuts thrown at his goal next game?
Andy Carroll scored in the very entertaining Mersyside Derby this morning
Martin Atkinson may be the worst ref in the EPL and for some reason continues to get important matchups
I think he plays pretty damn well for Argentina. They probably rely on him more than Barcelona. He doesn't have the scoring record as he does with Barca but he is heavily involved in almost all their goals.
Also doesn't make sense that he relies on Xavi-Iniesta if he has so many damn assists this year. He arguably has better vision than both of them. And honestly, I wouldn't even say it's arguable.
We got Cesc for many reasons. The system we run requires highly skilled players and it's obvious we had no freaking depth, so we needed someone to fill the gap. And despite his injury yesterday, it ended up being a pretty smart buy.

i wouldnt put too much stock into that poster. i will go by the assessment of the people trying to defend messi, and they have said what he does on the field is other worldly. he has great vision, great ball control, and great speed to get away from defenders. His mastery on the ball is something i havent seen since Zidane. its like the ball is stuck to his feet. and i like how every time he scores he points to the heavens. We are watching one of the great one's.
