“Wright is a good-sized back with the foot quickness and speed bursts that lead to explosive plays (25.7 percent of his carries in 2023 went for 10-plus yards, best in the FBS). However, his pace and patience must improve for more controlled runs. He’s also a work in progress — albeit a promising one — as a blocker and pass catcher.”

"his pace and patience must improve for more controlled runs..."
Go tell that to Georgia.
He just led all RB's in Yards Per Carry in the SEC which has the best defenses in College Football.
Wright has not gotten the credit he deserves all season. He will do great in the NFL.

The UGA linebacker was out of position on that play. Credit Wright for having the speed to make them pay but it was basically Wright taking advantage of a mistake. It's not like he otherwise ran all over them. That said I think Wright is probably underrated at 89. Just shows you how far the RB position has fallen in NFL importance.

Maybe the linebacker made a mistake, but he still ran away from the UGA secondary . That’s the sort of thing that will make you money.

Aren’t most long runs the result of a mistake by the defense.
