It would not shock me if this has been the case for a long time, it's just that now it is above the table and easier to track.

I think a lot of non-gamblers are getting exposed to just how popular sports betting is since it's legal now and the media shows odds, runs commercials for sportsbooks, etc. I can't tell any effect it has had on my family/social circle at all. The people who didn't bet before it was legal still don't bet, and the people who do bet have the same betting patterns.

On the whole I would agree. I bet the subset of parlay bros has skyrocketed though.

It does make certain bets (the insane parlays, futures, single-player props, etc.) easier to bet, I agree.

When it was all underground and you called up your bookie, 95% of that action was betting ATS, totals, and MLs.

Lucas Braun is easily the surprise of the year for the farm system. He's dominated AA the last month or so and has a legit arsenal. Real chance he's a factor later on next season. Mid 90's fastball, plus slider and has a feel for his change/curveball.

Out of the entire depth chart, only 4 positions were actually named starters (Nico, Mays, Spraggins, Ross)

Why do we even have a depth chart lol

Heyward might be cooked. Seems like if there were mutual interest, something would have happened by now. I’d prefer Michael Taylor, but I understand the need for a LH bat.
