Two guys light him (one to the head for targeting) and two separate fouls were called but since the play is “dead” after the QB slid and gave himself up the turnover on downs still goes into effect even though both hits occurred not even a second after he slid. So they call it dead ball fouls and MSU gets to keep the ball
