The Atlanta Braves Thread

Was CMC ruled out super late??
He was questionable all week. I think it was an hour ish hours before kick, or that's when I saw it.

From what I've seen about this book in the past they're usually super slow to respond to news. It's their fault. I know someone who used them before and it took them 15 minutes to respond to some significant news.

Teams have to declare inactives 90 min before kick. When the 49ers tweet is their own business
That's to the league tho.

When do the books get that knowledge vs when do the players is another question

Although the conspiracy theororist in me says the NFL tells the books when they get it. They were just slow to adjust and didn't like getting caught with their pants down.

Having mason’s number up and that low was on them.

Which is why what they were doing was scummy and I'm glad they got bullied into reversing their decision.

It all started because someone caught that line at -120 or so(I'm not sure what the original juice was) but after the game the book had sent an email saying the line would still be settled but it would be settled at -5000 because it was an incorrect line.

Which goes back to what I asked Brown.... yes league standard is 90 minutes, but to me that's irrelevant. When did the books know vs you and I knowing.
I looked at what time the 9ers tweeted because to me, that's when it becomes public.

What were they trying to do - get out paying winning tickets on the over?
Pretty much. The one Email I saw..... after the game they emailed the person that the line posted was incorrect, the line would be settled but at a new number of -5000.
I've seen some twitter comments that people claim to have played Mason well before inactive news dropped, since CMC was probably limited either way. They got the e mail too.

Reporters are putting out inactive info asap

You should not be relying on a teams twitter account. Their beat guy at worst
