Was listening to the Hammer Territory this morning (fka Talking Chop Podcast) and one of the guys on there bemoaned how they only have 2 LH hitters and that kills us in the postseason. Teams load up on righties knowing that only Harris and Olson are the only two real lefties. They have to go get another left handed masher (JOC PEDERSON PLEASE) to help balance the lineup.

So, that's my one thing with RL this off season. If we go with him in left then keep Arcia or pipe dream Adames to Atlanta that makes us way too RH.
That's why I mentioned Lowe yesterday.
Abrams at SS would work although we aren't getting him.
We need either a switch or lefty at either SS or LF

I'd rather run Nacho out there. You can at least chalk a bad perfomance up to youth in that scenario.

TDA's team option not being announced as picked up this late has been very interesting.

Yup, and I was against it then, but now. I think it makes a ton of sense.

Also, Kelenic should be a non factor in the decision making. Who cares

My bold prediciton is they are not picking up Ozuna's option. There is no way they can feel good about Soler another year in RF with all these RH hitters.

I'm hoping he's a bench coach next year.

Somebody is definitely giving him $5M-6M to be a DH/backup C option, he was still above league average hitter this year.
