Sorry if already discussed but does anyone think Butch will adopt the beast package with AJ? Dude was solid all season inside the five.

I hope he does it was very successful all year. I doubt he will though because he is going to bring in his own system and not worry about anything Dooley did last year.

Hopefully not. I would prefer we have an RB that can punch it in a few yards out, while AJ is over on the sideline discussing defensive tactics and scheming how to stop the next drive.

I could see them keeping the package, but having Q Watson running it more than AJ.

It was fun to watch the Beast because it was something different from the norm but I hope next year we have someone that can step into that roll other than AJ. I would like to see AJ resting on the side line for the next D series.

I've said since he committed and was an EE, I'm excited about Alden Hill. Finally healthy and he's a big back and still has 4.5/4.6 speed. Would love to see him step up and be that bruiser we haven't had in a long time.

I would just like to see someone on the offensive side of the ball step into that roll that is determined to get into the end zone.

Not all of them, I guess. Id rather see a big rb getting that gig. Scared me every time and flat out told the D what was coming...sorry to disagree

The other D still had problems stopping it around the goal line.

Who cares if it told them what was coming. Clearly it didn't matter since they only managed to stop it once.

The best package is the one that gets the ball to the play makers, doesn't matter what you call it !

And that one time it was stopped, wasn't it Pig and not AJ... or am I just still in shell shock from this season?

AJ got stopped I think twice both times it was like a 4 and 1 or 4th and 2. I don't think he ever got stop when going for a TD. Pig got stopped a couple of times running the "Wild Pig".
