I find it hard to argue against "The Play". Everything from the laterals to the band coming onto the field is just pure insanity. Imagine how surreal it must have felt to have been there in person.

i can only imagine how that felt for kentucky fans. the fact that dozens of cats fans were already on the field celebrating(some actually trying to tear down the goalposts) and that guy morriss had already received a gatorade bath definitely didn't make it any easier for kentucky.

Of the games I've seen, not the replays but was watching as they happened.

1. Doug Flutie Miracle to beat Miami.
2. Kordell Stewart 65 yard last second td heave to beat Michigan.
3. George Teague td saving rundown and strip of Big Mouth Thomas.
4. Tyrone Prothro behind the back catch.
5. Bluegrass Miracle. Very Funny!

i think that play definitely gets overlooked when discussing great college plays. for some reason, i hardly ever hear anyone talk about that one.

For sure... probably the best game I've ever watched live.

Best play or most unbelievable play? Most unbelievable has to be The Play, with the LSU/Ky finish a close second. Neither play had much of a chance from the outset, but they both succeeded.

The best play in that bunch is probably the hook and ladder or the statue of liberty from the Boise St. game. Two perfectly designed and executed plays.
