In a stunning coincidence, it was discovered that just prior to giving his endorsement to Hillary Clinton, Darrell Jackson - an SC state senator - received a $10,000 per month consulting contract with the Clinton campaign.

Clinton denies S.C. endorsement came with contract - CNN.com

In a related story, Jackson defends his actions by suggesting any criticism is "racist".

Money is the best way to win any political campaign. It happens on both sides. Jackson played the "race card" awfully quick though.

when the Clinton machine finally grinds Obamamania into the dirt, you think it'll stop, dust him off, and offer him the VP??

not.

Actually Hillary would be more inclined to pick Obama because he is new and inexperienced. She can take him and mold him like putty. Obama is not stupid and would take the advice knowing it could set him up for a later run. Go along to get along. Anyone else might be a little too tough to manage for Hillary.

I agree, but I also think it will depend on how the primaries go. If Obama is willing to go after Hillary in ways the press is unwilling to, he might score points for the afterlife, but not with Hillary.

Another thing to consider, and I've ignored it til now, is that Hollywood and George Soros are both behind Obama right now. That may change in a few months, but as long as Hillary doesn't have Left Coast support she's going to have problems with Obama.
