Everything is so political right now, and all these race issues with a black presidential candidate, I guess that was her way of making her opinion known. But in my opinion, it was very disrespectful of her to change the song when she was asked to sing another.
I'll agree with that..My point is, all of this race crap SUCKS! When will it end?
And as long as situations continue to occur like the National Anthem episode, the wound continues to bleed. Rene ain't no Florence Nightingale. In my opinion and I've said this in here before much to the chagrin of a few that I do not believe racial tensions will ease anytime soon here in the south. I lived in CO for a semester and whites and blacks do not have these silly issues out there. I don't know, maybe it's the heat.
Furthermore, until some magic wand is waved whites in the south will always have to pay for slavery. That axe to grind is here to stay unfortunately.

i dont post here often, very rarely actually(considering i have one post).however, i could not let this go by. have you ever been to chicago, detroit, maybe boston. i have seen less racism in the south during my entire life than i was exposed to while visiting those cities. i am so tired of the southern stereotype. it's not a north-south thing anymore. it is an entire world/nation thing. it is called taking advantage of a situation. no matter what race a person is, if it is to there advantage to scream rascism they will do it. i am sick of it.
well we all need to get used to. i think our country's identity is pretty much finish thanks to multiculturalism, PC and "diversity". As shown in Colorado, it all starts at the local level and works its way up. Liberalism has pretty much won and when hussein obama wins the presidency we can pretty much forget about the country we used to know. We only have ourselves to blame.
have you lost your mind?
multiculturalism and diversity are not to balme for this nation's ills. Not in the freaking least.
Obviously you disagree. Can you provide me the logical linkage between the two?
sure they are. people aren't taught how this country was formed for the fear of offending one group or another. there are school districts wanting to teach in only spanish because of the high number of minorities. You have leaders like this colorado woman who put their agenda and belief over the good of America. attitudes like her's are showing up in leadership positions all over America and they are becoming more and more bold. People aren't going to challenge this because they don't want to be seen as racists or bigots. immigrants that come to this country don't care about assimilating or learning America's culture. we are becoming a balkinized nation.
This November if Obama is elected. If he wins, whenever Jesse and Al complain about something, a white man can always comeback and say, "But the president is black..."
Watch and see... these guys don't know it, but the sympathy train is gonna come to end. How can you lay a guilt trip on a white man and talk about black people not getting a fair shake if you have a black president?
Those challenges as of today have all won. No school yet teaches with an ESL curriculum.so how are those challenges going? i think the losses are greater than the wins and it's not going to stop.
as for immigration, i don't think we should stop it at all. i do think we are losing our identity as a country little by little.
