I saw it last night and I have to say that I was very impressed with the movie overall. Good plot but also makes you think. Plus it doesn't hurt that Denzel kicks a bunch of people's heads in. Great movie!

Good to hear. The reviews I've read have all been pretty favorable too. I'll probably check this out during the week.

I really want to check this one out after the crowds die down at the theater.

Solid movie. Didn't blow me away, but I would recommend going to see it. The theater I was at last night burst into applause at the end of the movie. I thought that was odd.

Let me lay out the story.........:p

Just kidding, Go see it and here's why.

1) It just replaced my favorite post-apoplectic movie (Mad Max).

2)Within it's self it contains a story that could have appeared in the bible with-in the above time fame of (1.

3) The ending, If you "pay attention" is Biblical.

4) If you think the ending of the sixth sense was good. You will like this movie.

5) At the end there is a cornucopia of windows of enlightenment don't miss them.........

GREAT MOVIE......For the ages.

P.S.

For the Believers............

wow, you drag me into this thread for no apparent reason, get corrected (in a lighthearted manner, I might add) for using the wrong word, and I'm the person with a personality deficiency?

it's obvious you're still butt-hurt over my criticism of "Avatar". get over it.

QUOTE:
Just came back from watching "The Book of Eli". As far as post-apocalyptic movies go, it's definitely a winner.

Albus Dumbledore as a gun-crazy cannibal is almost worth the admission price himself.
