Sometimes I go look at Barry Bonds’ baseball ref page and laugh when I see he had a 1.368 OPS for four years.

Jim Callis said the Braves had the best second day of the draft and we didn’t even have a third round pick.

I want to harken on this point, but I still think Dansby should be batting 2nd. He absolutely crushes fastballs. He can still take a walk. Hitting before Freddie guys are going to throw him fastballs to try and get him out and not have Freddie with a guy on base. Also he’s hitting 8th and seeing more breaking stuff bc the pitcher is behind him and if he walks that’s fine.

You gotta have Ozzie and Acuña at the top so they get the most at-bats.

There is an argument to be made to have him either bat 5th ahead of Suzuki or 9th ahead of Ozzie.

His age 42 season is hilarious. I hate that he was black balled at the end of his career. Watching a 45 year old man hit 25 dongs would’ve been terrific.

I like Freddie at 3. Honestly call me crazy but with the struggles Ozzie has been having maybe go Swanson/Acuña to lead off then have Ozzie batting 5th.

Y’all hating on Folty but really think he’s turned the corner. Don’t have his best stuff yet gave us 5 innings and only 2 runs. Had this been last year or year before it probably would have been 3 innings 5 runs.
