Not saying it isn’t an adventure at times (maybe a lot of times) but the numbers are the numbers, and the numbers look pretty good.

I think I'm all caught up now. Hope all you dads had a good father's day. I spent the afternoon frying Calabash NC-style shrimp for my own dad and now my house smells like a Long John Silver's. Mrs Verc is pissed

Read where Gohara was sent back down yesterday. Has his window to break into the starting rotation closed for the year at this point?

Can we take a moment to admire how terrible the AL Central is? The Detroit Tigers and their one (1) not awful player are 2.5 games out of first place, closer than the natinals are to YOUR ATLANTA BRAVES.

I don’t think so but he has some work to do.

Also there has to be a spot. They aren’t going to force him in there and four of the guys are pretty set.

I always kind of assumed he would replace McCarthy, especially given his struggles but I agree, Gohara does have a lot to work on.

And right now anibal sanchez. I doubt what he’s doing lasts all season but that’s gotta be the five right now. Couple turns with 6 makes sense. Going to have to find a way to limit Newcomb’s innings to get into October.

Nick Castellanos is their best player...it’s incredible how much the central sucks

Newk went 180 last year...prolly okay with 200 regular season but nothing more than for a playoff run.
