Yeah, but there were a few scouts who wrote after he was drafted last season thought that he could have been used in the bullpen at the end of last season and would have been knocking on the door of joining the rotation by the AS break this season.

No need for him in the bullpen last season and the Braves brought him along very slowly, as they should have given his college workload. No need for him to rush into the rotation right now either. If the Braves don’t make bullpen moves I’m sure he and touki could contribute there in September and beyond if needed.

I agree but I don’t remember anyone saying he could pitch in Atlanta last year.

Besides we don’t have anywhere to put him (which is good!)
