For baseball, I have general idea what I’m going to look for based on knowing how the betting market works and watching/listening/reading entirely too much baseball. I’ll look at the props on one book, typically Caesars, and hone in on what I think I want to play. Then I’ll spot check those particular plays across books. I’m not digesting every books line for every prop. If I’m playing a side, I will definitely look at every book. FD and DK usually give you the best shot value wise on a side.Yeah, I know I pay bad Vig at time only playing one.
Idk if you know this, there's a website called oddsjam that has all the lines and basically does it for you. It's kinda expensive though.
You can go in and look through things yourself, but if you don't pay sometimes lines from books are missing.
For football, I will make a specific number and then periodically check all books during the week until I get it. Much easier because you have a week instead of a couple hours, but ton more research. Unless you have a hardcore public fade spot or make something very different from what’s expected, you want to get those lines as early as you’re comfortable with your info. They get razor sharp by weekend.
