Played their worst game in 4 months. Once Robertson went down they had no chance with the game plan they were gonna run. Goff is gonna get crucified and the pick 6 was a disaster but I don’t know how much it would have matter with how bad the defense was

He does dumb sh!t but also gets Chris Sale for Vaughn Grissom and brings Reynaldo Lopez in to start. He IS smart, but he thinks he’s the smartest in the room and that’s the problem

He’s been a very good GM but everything since the Sale trade has infuriated me

It’s easy to look smart when you get to spend $1B every offseason and defer a lot of it. The Braves don’t do free agency. He’s got one hand tied behind his back.

And Chris Wallace traded for Zach Randolph who no one wanted and signed Tony Allen who no one wanted.

He was a horrendous GM. **** happens and people get lucky.

You don’t make the playoffs (even extended playoffs) 7 straight years and luck into it even with the head start Coppy gave him. But just the absolute lack of aggressiveness and foresight into the explosion of MLB salaries is going to feel like a lost opportunity to win some rings.
