Brady and Mahomes really has ruined how we talk about QB’s and football. Lamar, even with the two turnovers, clearly outplayed Josh (who was fine but not spectacular) and all anyone is gonna talk about is how Josh is a winner and Lamar isn’t

Not a) thinking about team wins and losses, which is how all these teams go about it or b) acknowledging that a team is... gonna lose... ruined conversation as much as anything. FirstTakeification.

Josh played extremely clean and was the bulldozer to get them in the endzone in the red. The concern with him for years has been the chaos finds him, he squeezes too tight, and the W flies away. He did the exact opposite. Stayed within himself and got them through. One of the first takeaways after he does that being, "Lamar, despite these ways he clearly didn't, clearly outplayed Josh." is not as bad as "Lamar sucks" narratives, but it's still pretty blah.

And ain't nobody gonna talk about Josh as a winner unless he does it next week.
