Yeah his historical performance of smashing a home run every at bat in the World Series aside and the subtle drop in his production after his son almost DIED… really cost the duds

If you paid attention, his numbers (particularly his EV) were down even before the issue with his son. Some of us calling this out back in May.

Obviously, I was talking purely about performance, not the likelihood of him getting injured. If he starts 30 games again, what reason is there to expect a significant drop in production?

Freddie's dominant WS performance aside, he saw a pretty significant decline in production last year. He's at the age 1b start to decline. Would not be surprised to see more decline in 2025.

His decline is still better than half the league tho

It wasn't an actual e mail, but a person's e mail address.

But during the interview process the candidate was asked about their references they said they weren't sure if the original ones put down would actually answer, so my boss asked them if they had a couple more, and they then offered to write the new ones down.
