The Braves Thread

I can’t wait to see what sterling rotation Atlanta trots out in April. It never ceases to amaze how an organization cannot seem to fix the two real issues that has plagued them since their WS victory and that is starting pitching and a closer. I guess they have just given up

…..Iglesias isn’t even a top 50 issue with the organization he’s been unbelievable lol

Say what you want about Kirby, but this is sad.

I thought it was just because they weren't playing well, but lots of UGA fans on Twitter were commenting about how Kirby didn't look like himself on the sidelines during the Sugar Bowl. That whole bowl experience had to have been a complete nightmare for him.

I remember one of the commentators said 2 or 3 tines UGA played soft against ND and they were right, it's not the reason they lost, but it certainly wasn't the same team that played TN and Bama.

AA is trying to reset the tax. Battery Power did an article last week on it and I’m 100% convinced
I've seen that floated around since the beginning of FA, but does that mean AA can't do anything? He hasn't adequately addressed a single need this offseason.

We only had a couple million left at the end of last season, so if that's what he's trying to do then no we can't really afford to do much.

I mean, I have heard he would like to reset the luxury tax. We're not a "buy a championship" franchise like the Dodgers or the Yankees. And, unfortunate, we don't have a great farm system.

If AA chooses to do nothing so he can reset the tax, that's going to make for a disappointing season.
