That was a very heartbreaking loss, but our guys played hard. Florida should not have won that game, we were the better team and Erving Walker saved them from the free throw line, how he got their many of those times was mysterious to me. Four out of our last six games are at home and I believe we will win 5/6 to finish the regular season at 20-11. South Carolina has really struggled the past few weeks, which is evident by their home loss to Auburn and the 9 points they scored in the first half against UGA today. We play South Carolina twice to end the season.

Guys we are definitely a NCAA tournament team, although we have been losing a lot of close games. I like the substitutions in the first half, but the subs Pearl put in when we were up 40-33 really swung the momentum back in UF's favor. Obviously, free throw shooting is killing us because we have a lot of guys who don't have a lot of confidence from the line (besides Harris and Goins).

Regardless, I predict we finish the regular season and tournament very strong. It would be great if we could get a first round SEC tourney matchup with Arkansas, Florida, or Bama to get some revenge.

Do not EXPECT anything out of the team. This is a team that beat the current #4 team in the nation and then barely squeaks by UTM, who is an OVC bottom feeder at the moment.

There is no bright side. Once again our players lose due to terrible coaching. I don't even care about the tournament anymore. Just hoping the NCAA does its job.

Why in the hell, at this point, would anyone predict that?

The disappointment will be much less when you come to terms with the fact that this season is a wash. Weather permitting, i'm just going to work on improving my golf game starting now.

Because we are about to get a lot of momentum. We will beat USC and UGA at home, lose to vandy then win our last 3 including UK. We will win at least 1 sec tournament game, probably two. This team hasn't given up, unlike a lot of our fairweather fans.

Mark my words.

dude, never post a 'bright side post' like this till a few days - at the very least several hours - after a loss.

you're just going to end up getting torn up by everyone upset by the loss

I thought you were going to point out the good news that if the NCAA penalizes us by making us ineligible for the NCAA tournament, we can put a thumb to our nose and razz 'em back, then state (truthfully) "we weren't going to your stinky ole tournament anyway! Naah-nanny-nah-nah"

They also haven't proven that they can be anything even resembling consistent. A prediction is worthless. There is no sunshine to be pumped up anyone's ass about this loss. It was a tough game and the guys, including Bruce, just let it get away.

I'm trying to understand how he thinks we are going to win all these games in a row. Win the sec. And make a run in the ncaa. We are headed for the nit dude.

True Orange, I see what your saying, but I could careless what other people think that rip this team (not talking about you). Im a strong person and I make predictions regarding athletics that usually happen. This team is good, they are struggling closing games and hitting free throws. We have a nice schedule to end the season and will beat UK at home. We just went through a really tough stretch and now we have a lot of games in Thompson Boiling Arena.

I'd say that some of us are more realistic, not fair weather Mr. Nostradamus.

Did you watch Ohio State and Wisconsin play today? Now there were 2 good teams.

Yeah, we are such a juggernaut at TBA. We never lose in Knoxville.
