No more ducking us. Time to stand up and fight. The Bulldogs just now departing a hostile environment Memphis Whitehaven and you played in your cushy backyard. Beware!

I really dont get some 6A teams. Maryville has been with "the big boys" for 2 years now and has played in back to back state championships yet everyone acts like they've been ducking and running and hiding. The only thing Ive seen them do in 6A is play for state championships. Looks to me they're owning 6A almost as well as they did 4A

When has Maryville ever ducked anyone. For all the smack you talk about your beloved Smyrna Bulldogs, I hope to GOD you are on the team. Otherwise, you border on pathetic.

Im trying to figure out why a school that is ranked in the top 10, probably top 5 in all time wins (Maryville) would be ducking a school that is barely a .500 team all time (Smyrna)? Either way congrats to both. Should be fun to watch next weekend.

Regardless...TN hs football is weak sauce. Maryville couldn't make 6A playoffs in Alabama or Georgia.

Of course, Maryville has played somewhere that Smyrna has yet to play.....Cookeville. Murfreesboro and Nashville before that. Kinda tradition around these parts. But keep bragging about winning in a town that cares more about the round ball.

Of course, there is no way to know this, but way to drag the thread off topic.

Great and when I move to Georgia or Alabama, which will be a quarter to never, Ill start worrying about their high school football playoffs then.

As bad as the bracket looked at the start of the playoffs, it looks like the two best will be playing for the gold ball.

sorry we couldn't fit you into our 74 game winning streak...we were busy beating teams in east tn where tn high school football lives.
