Are Vol fans putting the cart before the horse on this whole USC probation.....?

There are threads regarding Mitch Mustain transferring.

A thread on raiding the USC broom closet for upperclass OL and DL.

Another one talking about the incoming freshman backing away and coming to Tennessee

The only real legitimate thread is 2011 recruits going elsewhere...

I think we can all gloat and laugh at Lane, Coach O and Monte for bailing and then getting prison raped by the NCAA....I think its hilarious but we need to come to the realization that none of the things above are likely to happen.

We need to realize that these kids aren't going to wake up today, tomorrow or next week and say "You know what...Tennessee seems like the place to be, they have an unknown coach, an unproven QB, no offensive line and play in the SEC.

I don't want someone's castoffs (Matt Barkley excluded) let's all let Coach Dooley recruit his players and see where that takes us. In the mean time lets mail congratulations cards to Coach Kiffin on his new job.

It's not even a case of the cart before the horse.

What people in here do alllllll the time is make up something and then run with it as if it is gospel truth. They don't know the rules, they don't know the facts, they just assume that "____________" will happen and is already a done deal.

The fact that other people buy into it and also run with it is nothing short of amazing. (Not good amazing, dumb amazing)

hey if dooley wants to go out to usc to get better players, im all for it. they got way better talent than we have at this time, so if he can snag a couple of players that want to leave and would help us out... im all for it..no matter if they are castoffs or not...

When is Dooley's helicopter ride to USC's football practice facility to watch the USC players and decide which ones he wants?

With the NCAA's "laws" stating that "if a probation period is for the recruit's entire career he is entitled to transfer".That would affect the Juniors and Seniors so why any coach not try "raiding their cupboard"?

But we CAN NOT contact players to try to get them to transfer.
