Look I think before we burn all our bridges we should consider that the pants have been largely innocent, in all of this. they didn't put too many or too little on the field, or blow any serious decisons. The pants themselves remained true to their color orange. I don't think they'e a bad idea....no need to throw the baby out with the bathwater.....
..but let's face it...wearing Orange Pants isn't for everyone. I mean that's pretty pimp really. You got to have some dip in your hip, and a glide in your stride to work Pantone 151 in your slacks......You got to have a certain swagger, Ego, and "flash" to look at home in orange pants.....arms crossed and sullen doesn't match Orange pants....... Hopping crazy tigger bouncin...now that ..that can roll in Orange Pants....... I'm just sayin I think Gruden could rock those pants.... Don't blame the pants...

Photoshop Gruden in Orange pants please, and be quick about it.

I'd be down for Gruden keeping the orange pants legacy. They are sweet. He needs to do better than brown belt and shoes though.

I love the orange pants. I know a lot of people want to singe anything related to Dooley from their memory, but the truth is that guy did a LOT of good things for our program and served a really valuable role. It's a damned shame he didn't win a few more games, but he's done a lot of the heavy lifting in terms of getting our program turned around and making the coaching job more attractive this go around. I definitely respect how he embraced our traditions and I think more Vol fans should show Coach Dooley a lot more respect.

I'm not a photoshop expert but man I just had the most pimping almost complete Gruden in the pants picture going adding an orange tie and it crashed...and i didn't save a single layer....I hate myself and my computer so much :(

Can someone more skilled then me make this happen?

Suspenders on that optional......I had it 90% complete but it was still amature..... all I had to do was fix missing hand, and was editing tie layer around hands and poof blue screen.... :(

I like 'em. Hell I liked Pearls orange blazer too. You know let's just have out coach wear a orange three piece suit... and top hat...

I really good with whatever. It would be cool for that to become a a tradition.

Alright this is what i got so far...I am not very good at this.......but man how can you say no to Gruden rockin those pants......! Give the pants another chance!!!!

I think all orange pants are unlucky. Ainge's interception happened with orange pants after Fulmer had had the team wear only white pants for nearly his entire tenure. Since that game we have wore Orange pants a lot and lost most of those games. Ban all Orange Pants!

I look at the pants like I do the Black Unis, both are part of marks on the Program I would like to forget about. Let Gruden or whoever leave their own mark, IMO.

My orange CK's have been a massive failure. I freakin' hate wearing those underwear on game days. I honestly think I will retire them.

I got myself a pair of those orange britches and I will continue to wear them. Can't blame the orange on his coaching ability. I blame the Georgia blood.

In the 70's for awhile the entire coaching staff wore the pants and we did just fine with them. Also on the black Unis for the record when neyland was kicking butt, and making UT football legendary the unis started BLACK!!! Black Uniforms are the original uniforms of UT football. They became Orange later. Nothing wrong with playing tribute to your school history once a year. I would be highly upset if they used them more then that as I personally prefer orange jerseys or the all white unis with power T, but once a year is fine. Neither have a thing to do with our success/failure rate... if anything on those special games it gave players a boost. The success of this program depends on many things but pants and black jersies don't mean a thing except for a little nostalgia, a boost in excitement, and a boost in revenue.....don't blame the pants!!!!

Yeah it is near clown proportions but it had to cover an equally large tie in Miami colors. If I were better at this I could have made more of old tie into white shirt, but best I could do was make this tie big enough to cover.

Pretty sure legs and body are not on correct proportion, hands are as big as feet. Unless he's a real live Beast from XMen.
