Let's save some time here, shall we?

The conversation is thus:

LG: "I see he is a Republican. And married. And a Christian. Typical."

joevol, gsvol, vbham, numerous others: "You can't attribute his actions to an entire group of people just because they are in the same political party, are part of the same culture, or are part of the same religion!!"

LG: "Then how do you justify doing that with Muslims?"

joevol, gsvol, vbham, numerous others: Silence, or distraction.

Unless this guy is being trained in a camp somewhere to go blow himself up or fly a plane into a building I don't think it would relate. Being a stupid male, who is led by his manhood, makes him a stupid male. It pretty much just ends there. Stupid male cheating.

You really compared cheating to cutting someone's head off on camera?

It's all equal in God's eyes, no?

It's all equal in God's eyes, no?

Sin is sin in the aspect that "all miss the mark."

In that aspect yes, you are correct.

In another aspect NO. God clearly states that we are to do as the laws of the land say unless they go against his laws. In that regard, cutting someones head off is much worse than cheating. Both are wrong but not equal.

Both can/will be forgiven with repentance?

Both can/will be forgiven with repentance?

Are we talking about life after death and how God will handle it or life during life and how courts handle it?

What does this have to do with Jesus?

This is why you get on my nerves sometimes. We are talking about something that has nothing to do with religion and you still inject religion into it.

Can we have one single debate without you making it about Christianity?

I replied to LG's Muslim comment. Was not getting religious though.

there was a part on a show last night that reminded me of this. The older couple was discussing some "private" photos that the guy had used for a v-day cake. The wife asked if he sent the pic to them because it might get out. The husband replied " Don't worry, I didn't give them the picture I just emailed it to them." Sometimes I wonder if technology is just too much for some people

both are equally wrong in God's eyes however, the results from these action are completely different.

God says that if think about adultry, you might as well have done it. in his eyes both are sins and he treats them the same. but, the results would be much difference in acting it out vs thinking about it only.

I thought it was refreshing that those of the opposite political party on this forum didn't post about this immediately to try and use it to score points, but rather it came up as a bipartisan "politicians suck" fashion.
