Why all of a sudden is The Daily Mail being referenced more often? Do you guys know that it's Britain's equivalent to The National Enquirer and has almost zero credibility? Just wondering out loud here...

as in the John Edwards case, sometimes the Enquirer gets things right

because the Christian Science Monitor is boring

I believe the Daily Mail is famous for its "Page 3 girls". Might be the Sun. Might be both!

Anyway, it is "pop journalism" for sure. Independent is the best. Guardian is good with a centrist view. Telegraph is far right wing, but "mainstream" journalism.

That picture is what spawned my question. I had also seen gsvol reference it regarding something serious previously. I've seen them used on other sites, too. But usually a Brit would jump in and remind a poster from the US using the wording I said.

Maybe we could come up with a list of trusted news sources to actually make this thread useful?
