Back to the future was actually a very dark movie....

Terrorist arms dealers murdering Doc in the beginning.

George Mcfly's public masturbation in a tree while being a creeper.

Incest with Marty and his mom.

Biff raping Lorraine.

The guy with the 3D glasses calling the black guy a "spook."

The bizarre relationship between an old reclusive scientist and a teenage boy.

What the hell is dark about that? I recognize that it seems weird to people, but one of my best friends as a teen was the 40 year old guy. If it's innocent, who the hell cares (but I guess I wasn't randomly showing up at his house to hang out)? I remember my Mom being concerned, but there was nothing to it.

Maybe some of you know who David Clary is. He's the voice of the Wildcats (Oak Ridge High School) and has worked with and around teens basically since he graduated college. We worked together and had a blast. I moved away from Tennessee like 14 years ago, and he's literally the only person back home I talk to on the reg.

1. they were Libyan terrorists who contracted Doc to build them a nuclear bomb

2. George was trying to hang on to a tree limb, not wank his crank

3. Lorraine Bains was a horny teenage girl with a strange boy sleeping in her bed. If you'll recall, the moment she kissed Marty, she realized that something was wrong, she said it was like "kissing her brother".

4. Biff never raped Lorraine, George put a stop to that.

5. The black guy's response to being called a "spook" was, "Who you callin' a spook, peckawood?" Remember, it was 1955.

Those are some pretty good analysis and I appreciate your response but I see you couldn't come up with a logical solution for the bizarre relationship between a reclusive mad scientist and a teenage boy.

Let's really analyze this masterpiece:

Was Doc Brown a recluse? The police officer checking on his "weather experiment" knew him by name.

the origin of their friendship is never explained, but it may have had something to do with that giant amplifier and the fact that George McFly was a pansy.

I always thought the relationship between doc and Marty was weird as well.

And yea...the rape scene was pretty low brow.

Also, back to the future 2 was the best of the 3, bar none.

Why was the relationship weird? Obviously Marty's family sucked (well before he went back) so it's probably one of those situations where a lonely kid looks for some kind of adult to give him guidance and that's where Doc came in. Doc had no family of his own (before 3 at least) and it probably was nice to him to have a sorta-son in Marty. Plus as pointed out, he probably got some cool stuff from Doc like the super amp.

Back the Future 2 is pretty racist. How does Marty learn Biff has screwed with the present? He finds a black family living in his house.

MCFRYYYYY!
