Looks pretty nice…

the smart thing for Vanderbilt since they are short on space is to demolish that terrible football stadium and build a 40k stadium off -but near campus.
Then use the space to build.

(1) Expand the baseball stadium seating to comfortably full size
(2) Build a softball stadium and actually start a program
(3) Build a basketball practice facility.

To be honest, they need to likely demolish the football stadium, gymnasium and baseball field and just start all over again in a common-sense, planned way.
They could build an Auburn-sized gym (About 9,000) whose exterior is not a mess of 35 jagged corners
Shift Hawkins field a little to the north and create full stands
Build a softball complex and a shared training facility for baseball and softball
Then build a nice 35,000 football stadium with a better footprint in Nashville somewhere. Hell! they could become a welcome tenant at GEODIS Park 3 miles from campus.

Rangers aren't that bad goes to show a Manager matters, same core from last year added DeGrom but he can't get off IL.Bochy is a great manager he led those lowly Giants to 3 WC in 5 years give the man his props.

Mike Trout just made a baseball reconsider it's faith in God in the first inning against my ChiSox.
476' first inning 2 run HR on 2 strikes and a ball that Lance Lynn basically put up on a tee
Trout should ask for a trade he is from Jersey maybe the Yankess lol. Angels haven't won in years and Ohtani is eyeing Dodger blue after this year

Question do you watch all MLB or just focus on Braves games, for instance Braves play at 3 something today and at 7 MLB Network has Phillies-Mets would you watch that game after Braves game or attention go elsewhere
I tend to focus on the Braves games but I will watch highlights and box scores of other games that interest me so I can keep up with teams come playoff time.

On June 1 in Baseball History...
  • 1917 - Hank Gowdy is the first major-league player to enlist during World War I when he signs up in the Ohio National Guard. He will play until he reports for duty July 15.

  • 1918 - Losing 5-4 against the Yankees, the White Sox load the bases in the ninth with no outs. Chick Gandil lines a shot to third baseman Frank Baker, who turns it into a game-ending triple play.

  • 1925 - Lou Gehrig begins a consecutive-game streak that will surpass Everett Scott's mark by pinch-hitting for Pee Wee Wanninger, the shortstop who replaced Scott in the Yankees lineup. The next day, first baseman Wally Pipp shows up with a headache, and Gehrig takes over.

  • 1941 - Mel Ott's two-run homer, the 400th of his career and his 1,499th and 1,500th RBI, gives the Giants a 3-2 win over the Reds.

  • 1943 - Rip Sewell of the Pirates throws his dew-drop ball in a game. Sewell loops the ball 18 to 20 feet high on its way to the strike zone. Later it is called a blooper or eephus ball. The pitch is more than a gag, and Sewell is on his way to a 20-win season.

  • 1959 - Two-time champ Monterrey, Mexico is barred from 1959 Little League competition for its failure to comply with the rule that specifies using only players from a predetermined geographical area.
