It is usually always in the best interest of the QB to sit a year, learn the playbook inside and out, and get adjusted to SEC game speed. Some of these kids are shell shocked coming from high school to the SEC due to the gap in strength and speed. With all that being said, if Nico is ready I would not not mind seeing him get more snaps. Probably won’t see him playing in any other games outside of UConn and Vanderbilt though. I hope he is able to play at least an entire quarter in those games. I expect all the other games to be too close to play the backup.

I think he plays sparingly until the Bowl Game then Heupel should showcase his talents and get VolNation hopes up...the American Way...
