F*^King A+ for you. Now, you can sell those two for millions to collectors.Speaking of dates...
My wife reads, collects, loves and hoards more books than any other human I’ve ever seen, so I’m constantly on the lookout for interesting finds.
Yesterday at a local thrift store, I found a 1936 edition, Gone with the Wind and a book titled “thrilling tales from American wars” from 1855!!
The book is 168 years old and was printed 6 years before the civil war and 6 years before Abe Lincoln became president!!
It’s inscribed on the inside cover in calligraphy,
Frank G Martins book may 30th 1856.
I got them for $1 each!
Believe it or not most of us have things worth good money to others if only we knew where to go to find that out. I'd be willing to bet someone would pay you more than a dollar for one of those two books you got. Some collector is looking for old books dated what you said & would pay good money for it.I wish!
The Gone with the wind book is on eBay for like $140, but my wife would rather keep it.Believe it or not most of us have things worth good money to others if only we knew where to go to find that out.
