This isn’t necessarily true just with volleyball but what I found a bit confusing last night is how both teams celebrated after every point whether they scored or not.

Libero is vb position w/diff color jersey. They mainly play defense-setting up for offense. They don’t rotate to the front line, block or serve.

So, the different color Jersey is the libero. It is a weird position with different rules, primarily restricting their offensive attack abilities.

Because they are limited in their attack options, they wear the different jersey to make them readily identifiable to officials and the other team.

I certainly found that strange. Hard to follow the point. Had to focus on the officials.

That would be particularly rough for volleyball, but at least Iowa football would still be watchable
